SAP .NET Connector Runtime by SAP is the production runtime needed to execute Microsoft .NET applications that integrate directly with SAP systems. It installs the managed libraries and native RFC components required to run apps built with the SAP .NET Connector (NCo), enabling secure, high‑performance communication with SAP back ends without additional middleware.

Key capabilities include:

• Calling SAP remote-enabled function modules (RFCs/BAPIs) from .NET, and optionally exposing .NET code as RFC server functions callable from SAP
• Automatic mapping between ABAP and .NET data types, with Unicode and 64‑bit support
